assault by my husband
I called 911police to stop being assaulted by my husband. he was assaulting me since 3 years. now we have 5months old baby. That's why i want to live with him in future also. The case hearing is in next month.
So please give me advice and information regarding the result of court hearing. I want to give him warning thru the court, but not the punishment.So what should i say in the court? We are not US citizens, so will the result effects our visa status i.e job etc.

If your husband is formally convicted of some form
of domestic assault, it could affect his immigration status. He should have a lawyer representing him who should be made aware not only of this particular issue but, also, of what you would like to see happen with your husband's case.
