Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
I was awarded more visitation in juvenile court in Prince William County Va., And now my ex is appealing the lower courts decision. Does the lower courts decision stay in effect til the appeal is heard?

The juvenile court order is NOT stayed pending appeal unless an order is entered by either the juvenile court or the circuit court staying the order. This rarely occurs.

The judge probably made a ruling on this matter when he/she received the appeal paperwork. Look at file. Good luck. Attorney Sheryl Shane. Web: www.sherylshanelaw.com
