Bahamian Marriages

My husband and I were married in the Bahamas in August, 2001. My husband and I are both US Citizens. I just want to be sure that my marriage is completely legal. That is my question. Is my marriage completely legal.

Whether a marriage is valid under the laws of a state is dependent upon whether it was valid under the law of the state/country where it occurred. I would advise you to consult an attorney to determine whether Bahamian law was complied with in your marriage.
