Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
A former boyfriend, the father of the two children, will not stop calling and texting.
The mother wants the father to have a relatioinship with his children, but the calls are threatening and some of the texts are sex explicit. Prior to getting away from the personal relationship he would beat her (she never called the police). He was on probation at this time. Is there any type of restraining order she can get agaisnt him to leave her alone? State of Virginia

Yes, in the Commonwealth it's called a CPO (Civil Protection Order).
