Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My brother and sister in-law have physical and medical custody of my kids. We still have our parental right but we now want our kids back. We don't know who to talk to or what to do and have no money. Can you help us? My husband sold drugs I was there he's has child neglected and endangered charges and so do I. He got charged with distribution I got one conspiracy. What are our options? What do you need us to do to help with this better? What do we need to do? Thank you!!!

In my experience with the courts, don't even approach the court until you both can prove you have been clean for a full year. Then the court would consider whether a change in custody is in the children's best interest. The discussion will be about what's good for the kids, not the parents.
