Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Calling me my first name and not daddy

When my ex speaks about to me to my children she refers to me by my first name and tells them that her boyfriend is their father. This is very confusing to them. They are 6 and 4 and go along with what she says. When she is not present they will call me daddy but when she is present they call me by my first name. It seems because they are afraid they will get in trouble. I know that if I referred to her by her first name and had them calling my fiance mom/mommy then my ex would have a fit and my head would be on a platter. We have court soon and I am wondering is it possible to have it stated in the order that the parents are to refer to one another as mommy and daddy when speaking to the children and not by using each others first name.

Re: Calling me my first name and not daddy

You could, of course, request that such specific language be included in the court's order, but I doubt that it would be approved.
