In the case of a divorce, what happens when a house mortgage is in only one persons name?

Your question is very vague. Are you inquiring as to how long you must continue to pay the mortgage during and subsequent to a divorce if the spouses' name is on the loan? Or are you interested in finding out whether you deserve equity in the home if his/ her name is on the title and yours is not? I suggest you hire an attorney to inform you on how to best proceed.
