If I am the aunt of a child age 15 and her mother is mentallly ill and her ex husband is not the biological father but has guardianship can I get custody of the child if that is what she is wanting.

Yes, you would have standing as the cnild's aunt to file for custody. However, whether the court would make a finding that it would be in the child's best interests to award you custody would depend upon many factors and not just on what the child herself may want.
