Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Custody Battle

I have a 2 month old daughter that has a deadbeat father. He does numerous drugs, throws wild parties, and never stays home. I know he will do these things in front of my daughter because he has custody of his daughter and does all of it in front of her. I don not want my daughter at his house AT ALL. We are shortly going to be starting a custody hearing and I am hoping to get at least supervised visitation for him. I would like to where he cant's see her at all. Is there anything you can suggest that would convince the judge that he is not a good father figure and cannot raise a child?

Re: Child Custody Battle

Other than what you've already said, no. I would also suggest that trying to completely cut off the father from seeing his daughter at this stage of the case, is not likely, tactically speaking, to be a good move on your part.
