Child Custody
What is the difference between giving a parent ''physical'' custody of a child versus ''sole'' custody? Or is there a difference?

Re: Child Custody
A parent who has sole custody of her child has legal as well as physical custody and is legally empowered to make all decisions in the child's life without consulting the other non-custodial parent, if there be such.
If a parent has only physical custody but shares legal custody with the other parent, the latter has the right to participate in major decisions involving the child's health, safety, education, etc.
