Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Custody

My 9 month old son's father and I are about to go through a custody battle. I feel that his motives for wanting the baby are not in the right place. He recently became a part of his life a little over a month ago right when the Division of Child Support Enforcement stepped in. Well he tried appealing their decision on child support and lost, so now he is taking them to court to appeal it again. He is so sure that he is going to get custody of the baby when we go to court on the 24th. I have 2 other children and we live with my sister. He shares my room with me and the girls and my sister have their own rooms. I don't drive, so I schedule all of the baby's appts around her schedule. Oh and the baby has his own bed in my room. I've supported him for the past 9 months along with the help of my sister. He is being well taken care of, has food, shelter, clothing, diapers, wipes, and more love than anyone could imagine in this household. I never see his father show affection towards him at all. On more than one occasion he has told me that he is not going to pay me support for the baby. Makes me think he wants him for that reason. What do you think his odds of winning would be. This is just a quick brief of some things

Re: Child Custody

I would estimate this father's odds of winning full custody of this child under the circumstances described at around ZERO.
