child custody questoin
the father of my 3 year daughter would like his parental rights back from my father. we had our daughter at ther age of 18 and at the time the father of my child did not have health care coverage at he job, and the only way that our daughter could get health care was if my dad got joint custody. The father of my child and I are now back together and would like to move, but we know that my father is not just going to give up his rights. What can we do?

What exactlly, in terms of his parental rights, did the father 0f your child supposedly give up? If you're talking about custody rights, all you need do is file a joint petition for custody of
the child in the Juvenile & Domestic
Relations District Court where the child resides and ask that full custody be awarded you and the father and that your father's custody order be
vacated or at least modified. (If your father's custody order, however, is within the jurisdiction of a circuit court, you will need to discuss the matter with an attorney who practices in that court as to the best approach to the matter.)
The court will then decide the issue based upon what it believes to be in the best interests of your child. I
