My ex has sole custody of our 12 and 14yr old daughters. 2months ago he dropped them and their belongings off at my house. I filed for joint custody, but when he received the summons he wants to take the girls away from me. Can he legally come and take them when even the girls have told him they want to live with me? court is in 3 days.

Yes, he can as long as he has a court order for sole custody, but you should attempt to delay him until the court hearing in three days.
