Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
Child Emancipation Laws
Can a 14-yr old legally emancipate himself from a biological father who has no custodial rights, but keeps getting limited visitation? Father is a recovering addict and felon. Son is adamant for the past 2 years that he wants no relationship with father.

Re: Child Emancipation Laws
No, emancipation is not a process for 14 year old children to be used in the manner and for the purpose(s) suggested in this question.
