Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

The child has mandatory visitation with his biological father. The father gets drunk and is abusive during the boy's visits. The boy hates these visits. His parents have tried numerous times to get the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judge in Virginia to stop the visitations to no avail. Can this boy at a certain age petition the courts to stop the visitation rights? I am concerned that this is causing this boy mental harm.

No, the boy himself while still a juvenile may not petition for himself

for cessation of his father's visitation rights.
