Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

child molestation / divorce

my question is : in the state of va , i understand when you get a divorce that all marital property must be divided equally. BUT , my husband sexually molested my child and went to prison. is there any exceptions to the division of property with the extenuating circumstances of my case. if not , where does ''my'' justice come in. my daughter got justice when he got sent to prison. but when and where do i get any justice for what this horrible act did to my life.please send an answer. my lawyer says i get no justice and that all marital property will be divided.
