child support

if the adoption papers were filed for child and mother of child failed to turn papers into dcse. Continued to collect child support for 14 months. can I press charges for collecting money under false pretences

No, but you might ask (politely) for a refund of anything that you may have paid when you were no longer obligated to do so.
