Does having more children and being the sole provider for them lower my child support?

Yes, the Virginia Child Support Guidelines (Va. Code Sec. 20-108.2) in calculating the obligor's child support obligation, provide for additional deductions from the obligor's calculated support obligation for additional children in his or her immediate family.
