Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Support Enforcement Agency

How does it work ? We have not received CS in a month and a half (3 payments). We attempted to find out what was going on by the other party but received nothing except accusations and name calling. So, we filled out the paper worked and attached the signed court order. How long does it usually take to know if something is going to be done or if we need to go file a show of cause with the court ?

Re: Child Support Enforcement Agency

Your question is somewhat unclear. If you mean how long should it take DCSE(Division of Child Support Enforcement)to began taking action to enforce the child support order involved with your case, you should contact the district DCSE office responsible for your area and ask to speak with the DCSE investigator who is assigned to the case.
