Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

child support

my ex-husband owes me 28,000 dollars in child support. child support enforcement sent case to the courts they said they did all they could do. they had put tax lien on his property (house). i have to go to court august 3rd. he's been to jail alot for not paying. what else can the judge possibly do besides lock him up again which wouldn't do me any good?
