Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Support

My husband I seperated in April of this year. He started paying me child support after a few weeks. In June we tried to work it out (I didn't go home-just counceling-it didn't work) In June he stopped paying anything, says he doesn't have the money. I have a court date for over a month from now. Can I get anything from the past few weeks? I need help with our child, I am not trying to break him.

Yes, you can claim retroactive support back to when the now pending petition was first filed.
