Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child support

My husband's daughter will turn 18 in May 2008, according to the final divorce decree he will no longer be responsible for paying child support once she turns 18. What time of legal paperwork do we need to execute or file to ensure this?

Re: Child support

Call the clerk's office of the court (civil division) that has the order and ask one of the clerk's whether your husband needs to file a motion in May 08 to vacate his current support order or whether the nullification of his support obligation by operation of law will be sufficient.
