Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Support - 30k of Military non taxable income ????

Child with military officer (married at time). I understand that VA calculator requests gross income and ASSUMES the income is taxed. I am proposing adding the savings (his tax base) into monthly calculation :-). I understand this to be rebuttable presumption. Any case law on this? Trying to settle without going to court. I can't find any information on this and wonder why no one else seems to question it.

Also...father intends to excercise no visitation. I understand VA calculator assumes 20% visitation or 73 days. Therefore non custodial parent does not have to provide any housing (a room for child

when visiting) does not have to provide clothes, toys or transportation for visits thus saving financially and putting more financial burden on custodial parent (me) ;-)

Thanks!

I would suggest that you arrange a consultation with a Virginia attorney knowledgeable regarding the Virginia Child Support Guidelines and the laws

governing child support in the Commonwealth.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to accomplish but am reasonably certain that if you persist on your own without the benefit of legal counsel, it's unlikely that you'll get anywhere with this(whatever this may be).
