child support changes

I and my ex and son live in virginia. we got divorced and child support etc was layed out in last in 1992. She now tells me that the law has changed in virginia and I now have to continue to pay child support til he is out of high school rather than till his 18th birthday. Is that the case? thank you for your help

Re: child support changes

The law now requires the child support payer to

continue the support payments until the subject child attains age 19 or graduates high school, whichever occurs first.
