Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Support

In the terms of my child support arrangement, I specified that $600 went to a college savings account we created and $350 went to daycare. Our daughter no longer goes to daycare and the mom closed the college savings account and pocketed the money ($18,000). Also, to get get back at me for being in a new relationship, she is withholding visits with my daughter. I've only seen her 5 times since 2006, even though I asked to share holidays and summer vacations with her. What should I do?

Re: Child Support

If mom and daughter are in the Commonwealth with a support order from a Virginia court, I concur with Mr. Grissom.

Re: Child Support

Sounds like you'll have to go back to VA to enforce the visitation and see if that college fund set aside will be enforceable. Good Luck.
