Child Support in Virginia

Is there a formula on child support in state of Virginia? Can you be told you are underemployed when it is not the case.

Yes, and yes.

The formula is based on gross income, including everything. If a judge believes you are underemployed, i.e. working a less then you are realistically capable of earning, income can be imputed to you.

In this economic environment there is very little excuse for not working to one's full capacity.
