If I remarry could my child support be increased?

If you mean to ask, if you remarry, could your child support obligation be increased due to the possible increase

in your household income attributable to the income/earnings of your new spouse, the answer is no. The income of such a spouse who is not legally responsible for the support of the subject child, cannot be factored into the calculations required to determine your support obligation under the Virginia Child Support Guidelines. (See Sec. 20-108.2 of Va. Code.)
