Child Visitation

My ex and I share joint legal and my ex has physical. I live out of the state and we do have an order with specific dates. This past holiday my ex stipulated that i must physicially pick up my children myself to get my visitation and i wanted to fly them with a airline escort which we have done in the past. i could not meet his demand and he would not budge so i was did not receieve my kids for my holiday visitation. and he took them out of state on a holiday trip with him. What can i do?

If the order itself does not specifically cover the circumstances involving how the children are to be picked up by their respective parents, your remedy then is to go back to court to have the order modified to cover this particular issue. Otherwise, you'll likely also be spending the next holiday as you apparently spent the most recent one---alone.
