what are my rights as a grand parent compared to someone that has legal guardian onver my grandson

Grandparents are recognized in the Code of Virginia as persons with a legitimate interest in obtaining visitation rights with respect to their grandchildren. Beyond that, they would have no rights nor claims with respect to such children that would supercede(as far as I am aware) those rights/obligations of the legal guardian of such children.
