Your chances depend on your existing relationship. Long distance visitation is common. Generally, visitation is consolidated into the children's long breaks from school. So, for example, instead of alternating weekends, you would take the children for the majority of the Summer Break, Spring Break and perhaps Winter Break. You might also request that you be permitted to see the children when you travel through Virginia. Good luck.
