Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My child's father and me have a child custody hearing next month and I wanted to know if we could have lawyer do a parenting plan for us if we agree on everything and have it filed through the courts during first hearing or will the judge still have to hear the case all the way through? Do you know about how much it would cost to have a parenting plan drawn up by a lawyer?

Probably, around three or so hours of this lawyer/s time (depending upon the complexity of the issues)

and with charges which might run anywhere from $600 to $900 depending upon what the lawyer's hourly rate.might be.
