Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I closed my child support case in Virginia. I had court ordered support. There was arrears for non paid support. He has of course gone back to his old ways and started not to pay again. If I reopen my case will the arrears still apply after giving him credit for payments he has made?

Yes, if the reopening is handled correctly by someone who knows what s/he is doing.
