Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Common Law Marriage (recognized?)-children from CLM how does custody work?

If two people live together for 5 yrs or more is this a common law marriage? And are common law marriages recognized in VA (Page County); if so, under what circumstances. If there are children out of said common law marriage, is there a custody issue and how is it determined. And lastly, if there is common property (i.e., houses, cars) how is ownership/division determined under the same common law situation?

Sorry, there is no common law marriage in VA. Custody is determined the same way whether parents are married or not. Property division of unmarried people in VA is determined by title ONLY.
