In the Commonwealth of Virginia - when does child support end - when the child turns 18, graduates high school. And, do you continue too pay support if the child goes to college which is paid for in full by the grandparents.

Support ends when the child turns 18 if the child has graduated high school. If not, support continues while the child is a full time student living with the person receiving support but only to age 19. You are not required to pay support if the child goes to college unless you contracted to do that in an agreement with the former spouse.
