Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I was contacted by a lady....She is the exwife of a current boyfriend. She emailed me and I replied. Now she is stating she will file harassment charges against me. If she contacts me and I reply, Can she do that? No threats were made on either side.

Harassment charges, for what? However, I might be moved to ask as to why you would consider replying to a goofball such as she appears to be?
