Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Court date coming up in mid-May. Non-custodial parent owes $8,859.23 in childsuport. Has not seen child in over 3 years. DCSE is the one that filed the paperwork to go to court. What should I expect?

You might see the non-custodial parent put in jail until the payments are made up, or some reasonable plan to make them up is developed.

Best to ask DCSE since they're apparently enforcing the delinquent

child support obligation.
