Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Court Date

I filed in court to reduce my child support since I lost my job, went to court and was told I would need verification from co that I was let go for now fault of own, well we agreed to disagree and so he let me go therefore I can't get a letter so is there something i can do so I can just drop the request? I work for a new companya and I have already taken off 1 day to go to court and if I take off again before my 90 days is up I will lose this job. If I write a letter to the judge requesting to withdraw the request will that be enough or is there a form or basically am I just losing my job because I have to go to court that day?

Re: Court Date

Yes, the letter to the judge with a copy to the clerk of court should be sufficient.
