Court ordered signing over marital assets
Husband removed from home for domestic violence over 2 years ago. Home damaged in Hurricane and he has signed already signed off 4 checks to complete house repairs. He has been ordered by a judge to sign off last two checks and to place the home on the market to be sold. He refuses to comply. What is my legal resource if he won't do as ordered?

Re: Court ordered signing over marital assets
Whenever someone fails to obey a Court Order, they are subject to being found in CONTEMPT OF COURT. If the Order was pursuant to a divorce decree your lawyer must file a Motion to Reopen the Divorce Case and File a Motion to SHOW CAUSE why the man should not be held in contempt of Court. If you win you will sanction him until he does what he's been ordered to do and probably win your fees to bring him to court as well.
Good luck.

Contempt of Court(or the threat thereof) is your remedy in this situation. If the matter is under the jurisdiction of the J&DRDC, you can merely go to the clerk's office and fill out the papers for a Show Cause to have your husband brought back before the court to answer for his noncompliance.
If the matter is being handled by the circuit court you will need to contact the lawyer who last represented you in this matter to file the Motion for Show Cause.
