cps complaint

contacted cps about a abuse neglect problem with someone that works for the school. i tried to drop complaint and i was made to feel like i was being invested. can they do that and can the use a past history against you to take the child when it is to involving aother person. do they also ve the right to medical and personal info on u when the complaint is not made on you
