Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Custody Laws in Virginia, what are my rights to my son, if my sperated wife is treating to take him away. I have my son with me. Can I keep him hear in my house that I own and not let her take him away untill custody is settled in court?

custody of his or her child(ren).
