Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
custody
My son filed custody of his son in Feb 2005.
The mother had gotten into alot of trouble with the law.
For three yrs she never gave my son a stable home.
Well I lost the case and she did too. They put him in a foster home.
Her mother and step-father got him out with my ok and he stayed with them.
In March the grandmother was killed.
Now the sister of the mother has filed for custody and got it til May.
How can my son get his son?
He has never been in trouble,he works.
They are useing that he lives with me,his grandmother and sister against him.
My daughter has lived in the same house for 9 yrs, gets good grades, plays ball, etc.
There is something more going on and no one will tell my son.
Please help!!!!

Re: custody
Your son, as the biological father of the boy, should have superior standing in the custody line
over the boy's aunt. However, without the aid of
competent and determined counsel advocating in his behalf, he may not prevail.
