custody of my son that lives in El Salvador

How can I get custody of my son who lives in el Salvador with his mother that I was never married to. He is a perminent residence of the USA.

If he (your son) is a permanent resident of the United States, and you already have an order granting you custody of the boy, you could go and pick him up and bring him back here.

However, if there is no such custody order, then you're likely left trying to gain custody of your son through a Salvadorean court (which is probably not too likely).
