I want custody of my son

I am separated from my son's mother how do i go about getting custodyof my son?

File your petition for full custody

in the Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court in the locality where the boy currently resides. (I would advise, however, that you first consult with an attorney familiar with such matters before you file.)
