Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My daughter is 5 months old and is sick. Her father wants to come get her but I said no bc she is sick and i dont want to be away from her when she is not feeling well.I live in VA and he lives in TN. He is saying that he is coming to get her but i said no. What rights do I have??

There is not enough information. Were you two ever married. Is there a court order in place.

If so what does it state. Normally if there is no court order - both parents have 100 percent right to the child. If there is a court order - that will tell you what to do. Judges look to reasonableness in most circumstances when it comes to the best interests of the child.
