Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Daughter has been to 5 schools in 2 years in 4 counties.

My daughter lives with her mother and has been missing school or late repeatedly in the last 2 years. She has been to 5 schools in the last 2 years and is only in 2nd grade; also each school has been in a different county in Virginia. I dont even know if she will be accepted into the 3rd grade. Her mother had her in a at home daycare for the last week of school before summer this year. Is there anything I can do legally to stop this? Is this reason good enough to get full custody changed in my favor? I have been in the same location for 4 years and have a stable environment for her. I just want her to be happy and have a routine instead of being bounced around from school to school.

Probably not enough to get full custody, but you would not know for sure unless your try. (Any number of factors could play into this issue if brought before a court, including the court itself and Virginia county where the custody suit was brought, as well as any mitigating factors which the mother might raise in her defense.)
