Decree of Reference

i am representing myself in a divorce case. I wanted to know how to write up a Decree of Reference. To appoint a commissioner to hear my case. I need an example of how to write one up. Thank you.

Re: Decree of Reference

A Decree of Reference is an order by which the court assigns a Commissioner in Chancery(a

private attorney) to hear your case. After

a Commissioner has been appointed, the clerk's office will send you a copy of the completed Decree of Reference. You complete the bottom part of the decree known as the Certificate of Mailing,

and then send the document to the defendant.

More detailed and extensive instructions can be found in the divorce packet of forms which should be availabe in the circuit court in which you are filing your divorce.
