I assume you wish to do this on your own,which is possible and productive if all you want is the divorce. If there are property, custody, visitation or support issues, you are not well advised to go it alone.

If there are no such issues, and if you live in Northern Virginia, go the the Fairfax County Courthouse third floor and as for the "Pro Se Divorce Brochure."

If the matter is not simple, consult a competent attorney.
