Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am asking in behalf of my sister in law, she is living in Virginia, alexandria, she is already divorced in Lancaster or Darlington Wisconsin, but her husband pushed her to say to the Judge that she does'nt want nothing about their properties and money and just that she ask for the child custody, the other way he ask for the child custody.

My questions:

Is that legal?

Right now she hasn't a job and no money but she is looking to take it back Legal acction for her bad desicion that she took.

She might want to change her mind but that's pretty tought ot take back your words. I don't know how she's going to do it to tell you the truth.
