Whatever may be meant by this question, a civil protection order is unlikely to have any effect on the pace of a divorce action involving the same parties (in my opinion).

One can file for divorce quicker when there are fault grounds in some instances. A contested divorce will take longer and probably cost much more regarding attorney fees. One would question why you would be living with someone when there is a protection order against him if you are the victim. Some people can live in same house and get no contest divorce under the right circumstances. Hire an attorney.
