If my divorce was finalized in Maryland, can I take my ex-husband to court in Virginia?

No, not until your Maryland decree is "domesticated" in the appropriate

Virginia court, i.e., triple sealed by the Maryland court, transferred to, and formally recognized by the Virginia court as in effect one of its own decrees.
